1. QUITTING SHIFTS

If you cannot attend a Shift that you have signed up for, you must quit the Shift as soon as possible using the app. If you quit a Shift less than 24 hours before it starts, a penalty of $19.80 applies. This amount will be deducted either from your account immediately or from the earnings in your next Shift.

If you quit Shifts at short notice too often, you will be either banned from the platform or a restriction will be placed on your account.

2. NOT TURNING UP

If you do not turn up for a Shift that you have signed up for, and you have not quit the Shift using the app, you will be banned from the platform immediately.

3. QUITTING MIDWAY

Unless there is a valid reason, you must not quit a shift before it finishes. If you leave a shift before it finishes without the shift owner’s consensus, you will receive ZERO payment for the shift. A valid reason includes car troubles (e.g. accidents, breakdown), injuries or feeling unwell. You must first inform the shift owner then contact DeliveryTasker. You may be asked to provide proof of any incidents or medical certificate (valid car repair invoice or medical certificate from a doctor).

4. LATE ARRIVALS

If you are going to be late for a shift, you must always let the shift owner know as soon as possible by messaging the shift owner using the app. Your hourly payment for the shift will be adjusted according to your actual start time.
